Man City’s Argentine attacker ran onto Kevin De Bruyne’s through ball to score against Liverpool, in the process passing Dwight Yorke as the top PL goal scorer from outside the continent.

De Bruyne has been pulling the strings for Man City, and got a deserved assist for his terrific vision.

Aguero scored in his sixth-straight Etihad Stadium appearance versus Liverpool, rounding Mignolet from De Bruyne’s through ball to make it 1-0.

Sadio Mane was then sent off for a high challenge on Ederson, and City made it 2-0 when De Bruyne’s service from the right found Jesus’ noggin.

A once-promising match felt essentially over at the break.
