VIDEO: Jenas records Shearer at moment Aguero tied his record

Not too many people would have the audacity to record and post this video, but Jermaine Jenas was simply taping a co-worker and one of his former teammates.

With Sergio Aguero presiding over a penalty kick which would give him a share of the Premier League hat trick record with one Alan Shearer, the former Newcastle player turned his camera on the English legend.

And while Shearer would later Tweet this — and sing it when he realized he was being filmed — we get a very visceral vibe from the Newcastle hero’s immediate reaction to Aguero slotting home.

We guess you could say that Shearer is too humble to mention that it’s a shared record.

But then again, just look at this video. The big man did not think he was going to be caught this soon, though he does offer a fine song.

I would’ve looked much worse in the same spot, Alan.

Eden Hazard knows Chelsea has little to play for, with the club in 9th and eight points back of Liverpool for the final European place.

But for the Belgian playmaker, who earned his first two goals of a tumultuous campaign last time out, he hopes to dash the hopes of another with title ambitions.

“The fans, the club, the players, we don’t want Tottenham to win the Premier League,” Hazard told BBC’s Match of the Day. “We hope for Leicester because they deserve to be champions this season. We have a good game next week against Tottenham and if we can beat them it will be good.”

Chelsea takes on Spurs next Monday, with Tottenham hoping to be within shouting distance of Leicester City at the top of the table. Also hoping to have an effect on the title race is Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas, but he thinks it may be decided by the opening whistle of the match on Monday.

“I believe they’ll have it wrapped up by then,” Fabregas said to Sky Sports. “Spurs are pushing hard to get as close to them as possible but I think Leicester will win it and deservedly. I don’t want Spurs to win it and, for what they’ve done through the season, I would love Leicester to win the Premier League.”

Spurs don’t take it personally.

“What do you expect Hazard to say?” said Tottenham midfielder Jermaine Jenas on Match of the Day. “He’s not going to say he wants Spurs to win now is he? It’s what everyone knows; there is that obvious rivalry between Chelsea and Spurs. But if Spurs keep doing what they’re doing now I don’t give Chelsea much of a chance in that game anyway.”
